Our Administrators

 Dee

I have been here at Billings Bridge Dental Centre for many years and enjoy what I do immensely. I work alongside some of the nicest people you could ever meet. Everybody likes to see familiar faces, and I get to do that all day long. I look forward to seeing you again soon!

I like to travel, enjoy working out, and going for long walks.

I have been in the dental field for over 20 years and became a Dental Assistant in 1996. I am passionate about dental health and have been the centre's Hygiene Coordinator since 2017. To me, there is nothing more gratifying than education and helping patients overcome their dental fears.

I have lived in the Ottawa area since I was born, and in my free time I enjoy spending time outdoors with my daughter and our fur babies.

I am one of BBDC’s most versatile employees. I love to work chairside, and people say I’m a really good administrator as well. I guess I just like to know how everything works.

I graduated from Algonquin College in 2017 as a Certified Dental Assistant Level II and started working here almost immediately afterward. I speak Tigrinya, Arabic and English.

I have younger siblings that I love. What some people might not know is that I became engaged and married since I started working here. And I love to travel. Ask me where I’ve been.

I'm Liban. I'm probably serving a patient right now, but I'll get my bio done soon!

I was born and raised in the small city of Kingston, Ontario where there was never anything to do!

When it came time to decide my career path, I knew I wanted to do something that would allow me to have a lot of interaction with the public. You could say I’ve been blessed with the gift of gab! As some point I must have thought: Hey why not teeth!? After all, a beautiful smile has always been the first feature I notice.

I graduated from Algonquin College’s Dental Assisting program in 2002. Over the years I’ve gained experience in different dental practices throughout Ottawa; some of them specialists. In 2018 I decided to take on a new challenge as an Administrative Assistant and I joined Billings Bridge Dental Centre. Everyone here made me feel so welcome and, before my first day was over, I already felt like I had been here for years!

When I’m not at work, I am busy in my other role as mommy to my two amazing kids! They certainly keep me busy and life very interesting!

Before arriving at Billings Bridge Dental Centre in 1996, I gained experience as an office administrator at a 24-hour emergency veterinary hospital. My first position in the dental field involved contacting our patients about their upcoming dental hygiene appointments. Eventually, I took on the responsibility of administrative duties for Dr. Rodrigues and his patients.

Several years ago, I took a few years to gain additional experience at other dental practices in Ottawa. Now I’m thrilled to be back working with Dr. Rodrigues and his wonderful patients, as well as assisting with the centre’s financial management.

People say I’m good at coaching new staff. I guess that’s because I always appreciate when others share their wisdom with me. You’ll sometimes find me sitting in the Reception Area visiting with my favourite patients (which could be you if you came in more often!).

I grew up in Ottawa. My favourite season is Winter because I love hibernating and reading. And I’m just crazy about my fur babies: Roy, Dexter and Tough Guy. (These are cats.)

I believe life is meant to be live to its fullest. I guess that's why people around here wonder why i'm always smiling! I graduated from CDI College in 2005 and joined Billings Bridge Dental Centre almost ten years ago. I'm happy working alongside any of our great dentists, and lately I've been helping out our outstanding administrative staff too. My husband and I have two boys, and owns and rides horses. By the way, if you've saved up and extra money at all, owning horses is a good way to get rid of it - but totally worth it!
